Mühlviertel craftsmanship for a healthy start in life
It all began in the 80s: Peter Doppler spent his childhood surrounded by baby carriages. His mother Margarete ran a specialist baby carriage store in the tranquil town of Gallneukirchen. As manufacturers moved to the Far East year after year, an idea grew in Peter's mind.

A baby carriage made in Upper Austria, that would be it!
But not only that, it also had to be healthy and sustainable. In 2007, the time had come and Naturkind was born. Together with regional suppliers, a baby carriage was produced in which babies only come into contact with harmless natural materials.

Austria's only stroller manufacturer

Today, Naturkind is Austria’s only pram manufacturer and an eco-pioneer in its field. From the Mühlviertel region, the concept of the sustainable pram is now delighting families all over Europe.

At Naturkind, work is carried out according to the highest eco-standards. To this day, Naturkind remains the only pram manufacturer to be GOTS-certified and to manufacture in Austria.

Craftsmanship & Regionality

In our workshop, all strollers are handmade. Mindful use of resources and a commitment to sourcing regionally—these are principles we have lived by since our founding.

Natural Materials

For us, it is crucial that your baby only comes into contact with tested materials (GOTS certified). In our strollers, we use organic cotton, organic sheep's wool, wood, cork, and coconut.
