The Naturkind Story
It all began in the 80s: Peter Doppler spent his childhood surrounded by prams. His mother Margarete ran a specialty pram shop in the tranquil town of Gallneukirchen. As manufacturers migrated to the Far East year after year, an idea began to grow in Peter.
A pram made in Upper Austria: that’s it! But not only that: no, it should also be healthy and sustainable. In 2007 the time had come and Naturkind was born. Together with regional suppliers, a pram was manufactured in which babies only come into contact with harmless natural materials.
Austria’s only manufacturer of prams
Today Naturkind is Austria’s only manufacturer of prams and an eco-friendly pioneer in its field. From the Mühlviertel region and beyond, families from all over Europe are now enthusiastic about the idea of sustainable prams.
Naturkind works according to the highest ecological standards. To this day, Naturkind is the only pram manufacturer to be GOTS-certified.

All prams are handcrafted in our facility. Respectful use of resources and a commitment to always source materials from the region: that has been our motto since the founding of our company.
Natural materials
It is very important to us that your baby only comes into contact with healthy materials. We use organic cotton, organic sheep’s wool, wood, cork and coconut in our prams.
